Start by getting up on your roof and cleaning your AC filters and then covering them to ensure they are protected from cold. Depending on your AC unit, you may have to access the filter inside.
Remove Any Fabric and Store in a Sealed Container
Next, you’re going to want to remove any fabric that you can from the RV including pillows, blankets curtains, and more to prevent mildew from forming in the long months while the RV sits unused. We recommend wandering these fabrics and then storing them in a dry place for the winter.
Deep Clean Your Appliances
You don’t want to leave any grit or grime in your appliances, or it will be a pain to clean in the future. Take some time to deep, clean your oven and your stove refrigerator, and any other appliances in your RV.
Winterize Your Plumbing System
The last step of winterizing, your RV should be to protect your RVs plumbing system. You’ll need to start by disconnecting any water supply is draining all of your tanks, low points, and the water heater and then bypassing the water heater. Once you’ve done that, you need to run antifreeze through the entire plumbing system and add it to your toilets and black tank.
