  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 c. chunky salsa
  • Scallions
  • Cilantro
  • Tortilla chips or kettle chips

Instructions:

  1. Start by building a strong fire and heating a 10-inch cast-iron skillet until it is very hot.
  2. Add in your choice of sausage and cook it until browned, breaking it into small pieces as you cook. It should take about 6 to 8 minutes.
  3. Move the skillet to indirect heat and air in the cream cheese and salsa, and stir until the cream cheese is thoroughly incorporated and melted.
  4. Top with chopped cilantro and scallions, and serve directly out of the skillet with your choice of tortilla chips or kettle chips.
